IDOC sent but not received

Hii there ABAP fellows,

 

I'd like to ask you about an IDOC issue. So, I've got simple IDOC done just for test. I did created a very similar scenario to  [this|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/A/OutboundIdocsby+ALE] from sdn tutorial.

 

Then filled and sent my test IDOC from my test program  and  now I've got such a problem that in WE02 it has got a status 03 (IDOC was sent successfully) whilst in target systen that IDOC does not appear.

 

I'm a real newbie in IDOCs matter so could you please give me some tip how can I detect the problem? I will be very thankful for suggestions. Greetings. P.

SM58: "Out of range: size 5 exceeded max size limit 5.""

Hi

I’m trying to send idoc for purchase orders using Basic type ORDERS05.

Initially we received error in BD87 “EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (too many repetitions of a segment)”

The error was caused due to limit that segment E1EDP19 can be repeated (SAP standard = 5)

We then found “how to” note 1860347 which referred us to note 370021.

After implementing note 370021, we changed the default from 5 to 20.

We are now stuck with new error in SM58 for function module IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS:

"Out of range: size 5 exceeded max size limit 5.""

 

Are there additional changes/settings that must be performed? Why would FM still pick up the setting for 5?

We are using standard SAP when generating PO iDOCs. Most PO iDOCs are processed successfully to external system. Only a few are failing.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

IDocs misteriousely disapearing

Hello all

We have a problem with our CUA/IDocs system.

 

  • When creating/changing a user, an IDoc is created and can be found in BD87, with status 03.
  • In Tx. BDM2, we have thousands of IDocs with status "Not transferred yet" and when we drill down, there's no IDoc number in the target system.
  • In Tx. BDM5, all checks are Green.
  • RFC connections are secured and functional and passed authorization checks both directions.
  • In both systems, all assigned ports (WE21) are pointing to correct RFC connections.
  • All steps in OSS note 333441 were implemented
  • In TARGET system, no IDoc can be found.
  • SM58 and SMQS are clean in both systems

 

Any ideas?

TID and error in IDOC

Hi Experts,

 

I have a customer query for our adapter.

FI IDOC is being send from the external system to SAP. Suppose the FI IDOC is posted in SAP it will return a TID to the external sytem.

Now the IDOC is posterd but it is not processed correctly , them it will not return any error to external system as per SAP.

But in case of our customer he is getting the exception when the IDOC is not processed correctly in SAP.

 

We want to reproduce this case and solve it.

As i am a fresher i dont have much knowledge about this.

Can anyone help me in this. Ckient is using SAP 4.6

Getting Error when material text or sales order text

Hi Abapers,

 

when data is transferred for  transaction data,

like material master or vendor master when those segments containing

text-id with other then English language it is throwing error.

BDC Call Transaction VA01 for screen "Availability Control"

Hi Experts,

 

Please I need your help, my customer has an interface that executes a Call Transaction for Transaction VA01, so when they create a sales order with a material that has for example 10 units in stock and if they are requesting 15units through call transaction they want "Availability Control" screen be showed in order to select the amount of 10 units(which only are available) instead of 15units, this is due that....when they have this scenario with materials stock and it's saved sales orders....in tab Procurement/ field Confirmed Qty is zero instead of 10 unit at least.

Hi Experts,

 

I have to trace the changes from SAP inbound IDoc for Basic type DELFOR02 - segment E1EDP16( Schedule Lines FRC/JIT Component Supplier)

 

This is updating Scheduling agreement (VA32) and I want to know where in Item level this gets updated. I am guessing it happens for below tab:Capture.JPG

Error while executing function "ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE"

Dear experts,


I am uploading the data from excel file using ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE function module in one of the report. The function goes well in the backend but

unfortunately, when I run the web, it throws an error: Error during import of clipboard contents, error key: RFC call ended with "System Failure" exception.I have enter to SU22 and find no errors about it.Have you guys ever met this problem? Please show me the the solution, or guide me how to fix this error.

FI03:Bank details are not updated

Hello,

 

I am posting an Idoc which updates all the bank related details. The Idoc is updating all the details except for the bank address.

 

Below is the screen shot for the Bank Country/Key combination for which I am posting the Idoc.

When I click on the yellow highlighted button on the above screen shot I expect a pop up which would show bank address related details.

 

But I am getting a message which says: No address maintained for bank XXXXXXX in country CN.

 

The Idoc segments involved are:

FM IDOC_INPUT_ADRMAS is used for posting the Idoc.

 

Please let me know what could be the possible issue, Why is the bank address related details not updated?

LSMW error while recording CN21 - Create Network

Hi

 

I have recorded LSMW for Creating network by using CN21 transaction. However, the LSMW stops at the field "Scheduling Type". For me the requisite value is "Forwards". I tried to Default it in Recording, Create rule in Field mapping as Constant or Fixed Value, but nothing worked.

 

Someone please help.

Now I need to find out when each of these web services has been called (consumed) the last time.

 

Is there any easy way to find out when a web service provided by a SAP system has been called, like a log?

Bapi MM MRP Area upload remote

Hi Experts,

I am use BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to upload material master MRP view  from an external application.

To upload the MRP Area field in SAP can use MD_MRP_LEVEL_CREATE_DATA, but this function module (FM) and its cause is not obtained from an external application

 

Anybody knows what BAPI can I use for this field?

Who knows how to use the BAPI (not FM) upload MRP area?

Circular dependency scenario

Hi Experts,

 

I want scenario with circular dependecies.

 

For eg we have two fields

  • emp name and
  • emp manager.

We entered emp manager and we get list of employees under him.

 

Now from the list we got may be some employees are manager of others.

So next the info about that EMP as manager will come.

 

Can anyone help me in that....

Ant database table for this retreival?

How to activate Services for Objects in transaction SU10?

Hello,

 

In transaction SU01, it is possible to activate the Services of Object that allow to add notes or documents to the User Logon Data. We use this feature to add the Incident ticket number each time we update a user in SU01.

 

When we have a long list od users to be processed, we use the transaction SU10 (Mass User updates), but the button for Services for Object is not visible. Then, we have to add the ticket number to a lot of users. And this is time consuming...

If the button "Services for Object" should be visible in SU10, then we could assign the same note or document to all the selected users. And then we will save time.

 

It is possible to activate the button "Services for Object" for the transaction SU10?

Modify IDoc and save to DB

Hi Experts,

 

  I have come across to modify an existing IDoc data via RFC program.

  In IDoc they will provide only some information and I have to fill up the remaining IDoc segments.

  The modified IDoc segments  are processed and to be saved on the original IDoc control and data segments .

  Is there any function module that save the modified IDoc to database.

  Please with some sample program.
